Vegetable-tanned with tannin (Most leather bags). Downside: vegetable-tanned leather bags discolor and shrivel when drenched in water. the tanning process using natural resource such as a tree bark & leaf from acacia wood plant with very low chemical used. These types of leather are not stable in water and it tends to discolor however this leather is more durable. Mostly use in hand-tooled, patchwork,vintage inspired, genuine vintage collection.

Chrome-tanned skins are more water-resistant, and are referred to in trade-speak as "wet blue" for their steel-gray tinge. (1) Cow leather (type: Single sided Semi Chrome) which are more water resistant, soft and shine. (2) Cow leather (type: Double sided Semi Chrome) which are more water resistant, soft and shine.
